Symptoms

 Lately, after I eat, especially lunch, my cheeks and nose have been turning red and there is the slightest of slight tingling sensations...

My first thought was that my fat cells are producing at such an alarming rate making me chubby that my face over heats and turns red... It makes a lot of sense to me, but others seem to disagree.

I dont know if maybe pregnancy has brought about a new allergy to something I'm eating, or maybe im consuming more sodium than I used too, or who knows...

I tried to google if this was a pregnancy related thing, but I didnt really get anywhere!! Perhaps it's just part of the 'glow'.

On another note, I booked a 3d/4d ultrasound for February 12!!! There is an option to purchase a dvd video of the session, so naturally I'm going to spring the extra dough for it!! I really hope she isn't camera shy, and that she does something cute for the video!! The video will be posted!! I'm so excited!! get ready!!

The Gym!!

I signed up for the gym about 2 1/2 weeks ago!! I thought it was a pretty good idea at the time, but I still havent been :/

One of the biggest reasons I signed up was that they offer a water aerobics class!! I've heard that is a great exercise to do during pregnancy, so I wanted to try it.. There is a class tonight, so I figure maybe if i post that I am finally going to go on here, that I will feel accountable... (even if its just to my one reader :) )

Hopefully I can hang in there since its an hour class...
The worst part is probably going to be putting on my swim suit.. I packed every one I own in my gym bag, hoping that I will be able to find one that still fits. EVERYTHING is a little bigger since last swimsuit season!!

Registered!!

Saturday my mom and I hit the store!! We spent a few hours in Babies R Us getting the registry for little miss Addison set up!!! It was a lot of fun, but there were soooo many things to pick, and some of the choices were kinda hard!! I had the hardest time trying to pick a type of bottle!! I think I ended up scanning 3 or 4 different types... so I've still got a little work to do on the registery, as far as going back and deleting things and editing it!!

We did spot this little ultrasound kit!! We of course bought it and went straight home to use it!! It was pretty neat. You can listen to the babies kicks and hiccups on it as well as her heart beat!! It also records (only 10 seconds at a time). When her kicks get a little louder and I get a really clear recording I will post it up!! It's  so fun to listen!! I also noticed while hooked up to the little ultrasound belt that Addie's kicks are strong enough to be seen! She was making the belt jump when she got really active a couple of times!!

The wait is over!

It is finally here.... MY BLOG!! Several people have suggested I start one, and I  debated for a while, and now here it is!! (thanks to the help of my sweet friend meg!! she got the ball rolling)

I thought this would be a great way to keep everyone updated on Addison as she grows and after she is born, plus something that we will be able to look back on and remember these times once she is older.

2010 was a busy year for Adam and I. I think this first post is the perfect time to venture back and recap last years events and bring everyone up to speed!!

January: We ran our first small 5K!! It was early and cold, but we had a lot of fun!!

February: In February I got to take my bridal portraits for the wedding. I had two of my wondeful bridesmaids Heather and Ashley come along to help!!

March: Adam and I went to the Houston Rodeo and watched Keith Urban (I really like his concerts).

We took our Annual Houston Zoo trip!! We go every year, and each year we take a picture in the exact same spot!! I have all of them but one year... one day ill post them all in order!!

I also had my first shower for the wedding at the cutest little tea room thanks to Ms Kelley and Heather!!

April: April was actually a pretty quiet month. (well as far as I can remember anyway)

May: May was CrAzY!! My bridesmaids threw me the cutest shower at the beginning of the month!! A week before the wedding we had a fun Karaoke night for my bachelorette party! May 22nd was the day Adam and I said "I do." and May 23rd we left for the Dominican Republic for our honeymoon, which also just so happened to be the first time I left the state of Texas let alone the country!!

June: On the 24th of June, i celebrated my 24th birthday!

July: We got to enjoy a full day with friends celebrating Matt's return home from war at his surprise party!

I also got to shoot my first gun!!!

August: The beginning of August we decided to start trying to get pregnant. We thought if we started now, maybe my next year we could be expecting! Little did we know, it doesn't always take that long!!

September: On the 5th I took a pregnancy test while my sister in law Amanda was in town not really expecting a positive result, but just kinda for fun. As it turns out, the test said positive!! I was 4 weeks pregnant!! Coincidently we had just had Amanda's baby shower the day before, and it was LABOR day weekend!! :)

October: Adam celebrated his 27th birthday on the 27th!! We had a small surprise party for him!!

November: We had our first ultrasound where we could really see or sweet baby. We were also told it looked like there was an 80% chance she was a girl!!

December: We had out first Christmas as a married couple!! We also had it confirmed that baby DelCampo was a girl, and we named her Addison Taylor!!

So much more happened, but I tried to hit most of the highlights!! Here it is January, I'm 24 weeks and anxiously waiting to meet our sweet princess!

I will try my best to keep up with this blog, and let everyone know updates on Addison, who is due MAY 11!!!!
